Vaisala CO₂ sensors are high-stability, long-life instruments primarily using the patented CARBOCAP® NDIR technology to provide reliable carbon dioxide measurements in a variety of demanding applications. They are designed for both parts-per-million (ppm) and percentage-level (%-level) measurements.

Features Include:

• Single-beam, Dual-wavelength Measurement: The FPI filter allows the sensor to measure both the CO₂ absorption and a reference signal using a single set of components.
• Built-in Reference: This internal reference measurement in every cycle compensates for potential changes in light source intensity, contamination, and dirt accumulation, which eliminates the most common drift factors associated with other NDIR sensors.
• Stability and Long Life: The result is superior long-term stability and an extended service life, with recommended calibration intervals of up to 5 years. The microglow light source has a rated stable light output life of over 15 years.
• Harsh Environment Performance: The sensors are designed to function reliably in demanding conditions, including high humidity, dust, and varying temperatures, making them suitable for industrial and ecological applications.
